METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID DISPERSION OF CARBON-NANOTUBE AGGREGATES

A method for manufacturing a liquid dispersion of carbon-nanotube aggregates, wherein carbon-nanotube aggregates are dispersed in a dispersion medium. Said method comprises the following two steps: (A) a step wherein a carbon-nanotube paste with a particle size of 100 nm to 20 µm, in which partial dissociation of clumps from carbon-nanotube aggregates has occurred, is prepared via a physical dispersion process which makes carbon-nanotube aggregates in a dispersion medium adsorb a dispersant; and (B) a step wherein said carbon-nanotube paste is dispersed via an ultrasonic dispersion process. Said method minimizes damage to or breakage of the graphite structure of the carbon-nanotube aggregates.
