摘要 According to the present invention, a rechargeable battery with an improved lead structure comprises: an electrode assembly in which an anode plate having an anode tap, a cathode plate having a cathode tap, and a separating film are alternately stacked; a battery case which accommodates the electrode assembly; an anode lead which is electrically connected to the anode tap; and a cathode lead which is electrically connected to the cathode tap, wherein one or more electrode taps of the anode tap or cathode tap have a plurality of connection parts with an electrically connected electrode lead, and the number of electrode leads is smaller than the number of connection parts with the electrode tap. According to the present invention, it is possible to secure a sufficient junction region between the electrode tap and electrode lead, so that it is possible to provide a more suitable environment for high capacity environments, and to effectively prevent resistance or a current unbalance and partial heat generation in the rechargeable battery, thereby making it possible to implement a more efficient rechargeable battery.
