<p>This apparatus for manufacturing an optical recording medium comprises a rotating table on which a substrate for an optical recording medium is to be placed, and a drip feeding means for drip feeding a resin for forming an optically transmissive film layer during the rotation of the rotating table, said drip feeding means drip feeding resin on the inside of the substrate and on the side surface of the substrate. According to the present invention a UV cured resin layer with a uniform cross-sectional shape is formed on the entire circumference of the side surface of the optical recording medium during a spin coat process.</p>
