<p>A piston damper provided with: a cylinder (10) having attachment parts (16); a piston (20) disposed inside said cylinder so as to be able to move reciprocally; and a rod (2) having an attachment part (28) that is moved synchronously with the piston. The attachment parts (16) on the cylinder and the attachment part (28) on the rod are each coupled to a different member from a first member (8) and a second member (9), and the piston damper thus restricts the movement of one of said members with respect to the other. Said piston damper is characterized in that at least the attachment parts (16) on the cylinder (10) have fitting holes (17) formed therein, the attachment parts are axially supported by the fixing of the fitting holes (17) and shafts (S) to the first member (8) and/or the second member (9), and the attachment parts have a biasing means (18) that absorbs the play of said shafts (S) with respect to said fitting holes (17). This makes it possible to easily and reliably prevent rattling stemming from the play of the shafts (S) with respect to the fitting holes (17), which tends to occur as a result of long-term use, temperature changes, or the like.</p> |
