<p>Automated bonding of two components of a motor vehicle, comprises applying an adhesive in a connecting region of the components, at least on a first component by a controller led gluing machine (1), contacting the two components at the connecting region, and removing excess adhesive residues at the connection of the components, which projects from the connecting region of the two components, using a spatula (5) provided in the controller led machines. An independent claim is also included for a device for automated removal of adhesive residues in the connecting region of the two bonded parts of a motor vehicle, comprising a gripper (3) on which a movable cleaning unit is provided for removing the adhesive residues, and a control unit for automated control of movement of the cleaning unit relative to the connecting region, where the cleaning unit exhibits a movable spatula for receiving adhesive residue along the connecting region of the components.</p> |
