A motor vehicle side electrical energy storage unit is connected to an external loading station (22). A front region, a rear region, an edge or a passenger space region of a motor vehicle (10) comprise a stowing away space for the conduit. The conduit is led out via an opening (14) on a side of the motor vehicle to the external loading station.
