<p>A push-in fastener clip assembly (100) includes a fastener (102) having deflectable legs (108, 110, 112, 114) and compression ring (104) for sliding along the deflectable legs during installation, with the compresion ring connected to the fastener by frangible connections (134, 136, 138, 140) that are broken as the fastener clip assembly is being installed. Slots in the fastener guide the broken frangible connections during installation of the fastener, limiting rotation of the compresion ring.</p> |
