PURPOSE: An optical properties control system for sunglasses or goggles and goggles with the same are provided to control light transmissivity or color of lens. CONSTITUTION: An optical properties control system(120) for sunglasses comprises lenses(121a,121b), a brightness detecting sensor(123c), a controller(122), and a lens drive part(126). The lens is equipped with an LCD panel. The lens drive part is equipped with an LCD drive part sanctioning driving voltage to the LCD panel. The brightness detecting sensor senses the brightness of surroundings. The controller controls the operation of the lens drive part.
