<p>A sealed centrifugal casting method is disclosed. A gland (1) which can move up and down is provided on a vertical centrifuge. A mold (2) is preheated, and then molten metal liquid is poured into the preheated mold (2). The mold (2) containing molten metal liquid is placed on the vertical centrifuge. The gland (1) is moved down to seal the mold (2). The vertical centrifuge rotates until the molten metal liquid becomes a solid state. A cooled casting is taken from the mold (2) and is post-processed. The density, strength and abrasion resistance of the casting produced by this method are improved.</p> |
