Disclosed is a thermal collector receiver capable of efficiently absorbing sunlight irradiated via a heliostat and converting the same into heat. The thermal receiver used in the solar thermal power generation device is provided with a heat absorption body comprising one or multiple honeycomb units in which multiple fluid paths are arranged to allow circulation of a heat medium, and with a support body which both supports said heat absorption body and allows circulation of the heat medium. The aforementioned absorption body is configured to contain silicon carbide, and the surface irradiated by sunlight is treated by polishing or coating.
