A composite binder having conductivity is provided to realize an optimized combination of adhesion and elongation and excellent conductivity, thereby imparting improved quality to a secondary battery. A composite binder for electrode slurry of a secondary battery comprises polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and conductive particles, wherein the conductive particles are distributed uniformly in the polymer resins. The conductive particles are used in an amount of 0.01-20 wt% based on the total weight of the binder. The conductive particles include carbonaceous particles such as carbon black, carbon fibers or carbon nanotubes.
