The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a flame-retardant resin composition which is prepared using a plant-derived raw material and has excellent flame retardancy, heat resistance and impact resistance; and a molded article which is produced from the flame-retardant resin composition. The present invention relates to a flame-retardant resin composition comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a resin component (a component (A)) which contains at least 50 wt% of poly(lactic acid) (a component (A-1)); (B) 1-100 parts by weight of an organic phosphorus compound (a component (B)) which is represented by formula (1); (C) 1-200 parts by weight of a filler (a component (C)); and (D) 1-100 parts by weight of an impact resistance improver (a component (D)). (In formula (1), X1 and X2 are the same as or different from each other and independently represent an aromatic substituted alkyl group represented by formula (2).) (In formula (2), AL represents a branched or linear alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms; Ar represents a phenyl, naphthyl or anthryl group which may have a substituent; and n represents an integer of 1-3, wherein Ar can bind to any carbon atom in AL.) |
