PURPOSE: An electric water gauge using an upper cover of a protection case is provided to facilitate to replace a battery and to enhance the efficiency of maintenance and repair because the battery is formed to be separated from the battery supplying power source. CONSTITUTION: An electric water gauge using an upper cover of a protection case comprises a sensor part(510), a battery, and a controller. The sensor part is attached to an impeller(10) being rotated by a flow. The sensor unit senses a rotation of a permanent magnet(20) rotating with the impeller. The battery is formed in an upper cover of a protection case protecting a water gauge. The controller analyzes and transfers signals from the sensor unit and receives the signal from outside and controls the water gauge. The control unit is seated on the PCB(Polychlorinated Biphenyl). The PCB is mounted on a slot formed on the upper cover of the protection case, thereby easily replacing and additionally mounting.
