摘要 <p>A brake control device comprises: a friction braking means for generating a friction braking force by supplying an operating fluid to wheel cylinders which are respectively disposed on each wheel of a vehicle and pressing a friction member on the wheels; a regenerative braking means for generating a regenerative braking force by an electricity regeneration to rotating electrical machines which drive the wheels; a hydraulic pressure control valve which adjusts the pressure of the operating fluid which is supplied to the wheel cylinder of each wheel from a hydraulic pressure source; and a control means for executing a regenerative control which, with the regenerative braking force, provides all requested braking force which is requested by a driver, and for executing a substitution control which provides the requested braking force with the friction braking force in place of the regenerative braking force when a prescribed condition is met, adjusting a pressurization of the operating fluid pressure with the hydraulic pressure control valve. Providing all requested braking force with the regenerative braking force and executing the substitution control which provides the requested braking force when the prescribed condition is met, adjusting the pressurization of the operating fluid pressure with the hydraulic pressure control valve, makes a fine depressurization control of the friction braking force unnecessary, allows eliminating a control valve for said purpose, and facilitates reduced costs while preserving brake performance and fuel consumption performance.</p>
