The invention relates to the field of physical training and sport and is intended for the training of sportsmen involved in ball games, for example basketball players. The trainer comprises a mannequin mounted on a platform and having one or two hands and one or two feet, means for changing the position of the hands and/or feet of the mannequin, a control unit and a recording device. The means for changing the position of the hands and/or feet are equipped with actuating mechanisms which are coupled to the output of the control unit, which is connected to the recording device. The trainer platform can comprise a dedicated actuating mechanism, which is connected to the control unit. The technical result achieved when using the claimed invention consists in producing a dynamic device with feedback between a forward and the trainer, which increases the effectiveness of the training of basketball players by simulating real game situations.
