A treatment system and a method for treating waste product are disclosed. In some examples, the treatment system (100) may include a container (104) effective to receive a waste product (101). The treatment system (100) may further include one or more filters (102) in communication with the container (104). The filter or filters (102) may include a polymer carrier material (108). The polymer carrier material (108) may include at least one of Sphingomonas bacteria, Flavobacteriales bacteria or Chryseobacterium bacteria. The treatment system and method increase the poison resistance of microorganism, achieve efficient biological removal of toxic substances to the nitrobenzene, reduce the processing cost and realize discharging wastewater reaching the standard by adopting immobilized microorganism technology. They are not only applicable to TNT wastewater process, but also to the processing of pollutant containing nitrobenzene and aniline and organic wastewater.
