[Also in Divisions B2 and C4] Examples 16, 17 and 18 describe (a) a stoving lacquer comprising 79À5 g. acrylic resin (a methacrylate-acrylamide copolymer), 3À4 g. dioctyl phthalate, 3À4 g. of a polymer plasticizer, 13À7 g. of a butylated melamine-formaldehyde resin, (b) a composition comprising 50 g. of an alkyd resin modified with coconut oil fatty acid, 60% in xylene, 30 g. of a butylated melamin-formaldehyde resin, 10 g. xylene and 10 g. of methyl "Cellosolve" (Trade Mark), and (c) a composition comprising 67 g. of P.V.C., 33 g. dioctyl phthalate, 2 g. dibutyl tin dilaurate, 0À3 g. of a light stabilizer and 7 g. of titanium dioxide which are pigmented with perylene 3,4,9,10- tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride which has been precipitated from aqueous solution of the tetracarboxylic acid in presence of a dispersing agent. Anionic, nonionic and cationic dispersing agents are used. |
