发明名称 Dichtung an Zahnradpumpen
摘要 1,206,524. Rotary positive-displacement pumps and motors. LEAR SIEGLER Inc. Oct.31, 1968 [Nov.13, 1967], No.51639/68. Heading F1F. A rotary positive-displacement hydraulic pump, or motor, of the externally-meshing gear type includes a pair of gears 14, 15, Fig.1 lodged between pairs of axially-movable bearing-blocks 19, 20 and 21, 22, the blocks 20, 22 being pressure-loaded in the axial direction to minimize leakage of fluid from the ends of the geartooth spaces, to which end a seal 25 is situated in a groove 26 within an end plate 13 of a housing 10 to form pressure-loading chambers. The seal is constituted by a resilient element 27, Fig.2, and a wear-resistant element 28, each element having limbs, or projections 41, 42 whose outermost ends are in register with the outer peripheral surfaces of the adjacent bearing-blocks so as to form a pair of chambers, or "zones", 43 that are isolated from inlet and outlet ports 23, 24 for the working fluid and to prevent direct communication between said ports. The chambers 43 are charged with fluid through channels 44, or 45, in the bearing- blocks, which channels communicate with geartooth spaces remote from the meshing gear-teeth so that the distribution of pressures urging the bearing blocks towards the gears suits the pressure gradient across the gear teeth. Additional projections may be furnished between the projections 41, 42 to form extra pressure-loading chambers. To flush the peripheral surface of each bearing block a channel 38 may be provided, as shown, to permit fluid to flow therethrough from the geartooth spaces into a region of relatively lowpressure adjacent the inlet port 23. Flushing of the surface aforesaid is also effected by fluid in the channel 44, or 45. An additional groove 30 contains a ring 31 to prevent leakage between the end plate 13 and the central section 11 of the housing, fluid entering this groove being directed into the inlet port through grooves 37. The projections 41, 42 may be furnished with axial extensions, or legs, 49, 50, Fig. 4, to more effectively seal the chambers 43; and the elements of the seal may be lodged in a groove 54 formed in a bearing-block 51, which replaces the blocks 19, 20. Alternatively, a groove for said elements may be formed in the housing end-plate as well as in the bearing- block. In another embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown), the bearing blocks are replaced by cheek-plates, or pressure-plates, (72, 73), the gears being supported by bushes (66) in the housing.
