The disclosed turning apparatus cuts a workpiece rotated using a first cutting processing tool having a first cutting blade at the tip. Immediately after chips cut by means of the first cutting blade are expelled, said chips are intermittently cut using a second rotation cutting tool having a second cutting blade which rotates.</p>
