<p>A lead for dogs or other pets with a power source provided for a functional device such as a torch or an alarm or sounder or electronic interface to enhance the utility of the lead. The power source will comprise an on board battery which can be charged up by a separate unit and will normally utilise the power generated by the pull out and retraction of a leash with a spool retractor mechanism to top up this source. The spool is associated with an electrical machine such as a dynamo to generate electrical power for the functional device.</p> |
