<p>Provided is a driving assist device that allows a user to more instinctively grasp, for example, the positions of the ends of a vehicle from the inside of the vehicle. The driving assist device of the present invention assists the driving operation of a driver by displaying, on a display device disposed in the vehicle, an around-vehicle image, which is acquired by image pickup devices mounted on the vehicle, in such a manner that the around-vehicle image is superimposed on an area (IM) occupied by the vehicle. At this moment, a driving assist guide line (L1) is also displayed in such a manner that the driving assist guide line (L1) is superimposed on a dead space area (ID) which is an area between the around-vehicle image and the vehicle-occupied area (IM) both displayed and which is a dead space for the image pickup devices.</p> |
