PURPOSE: A condensed cyclic compound is provided to obtain excellent performance for an organic luminance device, for example high efficiency and long life time. CONSTITUTION: A condensed cyclic compound is in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, a=1 and b=0, -R12 is connected to the location of C11, and -R13 is connected to the location of C12, or a=0, b=1, =R12 is connected to the location of C13, and -R13 is connected to the location of C14. A1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C6-60 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2-C60 heterocyclic group, or one of a group in chemical formula 2A and a group in chemical formula 2B. An organic light emitting diode comprises a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and a first layer inserted between the first and the second electrodes. The first layer comprises the condensed cyclic compound.
