PURPOSE: An address file management system and a method thereof are provided to manage public information by matching with a phone number based on a wire/wireless communication network. CONSTITUTION: A first address book management server(300) creates an address DB enable a user to connect other user through a wired communication network and use a phone number and public information. A second address book management server(400) receives phone number which is registered to a first address management server The second address management server updates the address DB. The second address management server offers the public information by matching to a phone number.
