PURPOSE: A LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) storage tank is provided to minimize influence of temperature and to improve structural stability and reliability. CONSTITUTION: A LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) storage tank(520) comprises an inner shell(521), an outer shell(522), an insulation layer part(523), a connection part(524), and a buffer part(525). The inner shell stores LNG. The outer shell surrounds the exterior of the inner shell. The insulation layer part is installed in a space between the inner shell and the outer shell and reduces heat transfer. The connection part is connected to an external inlet to be projected to the insulation layer part. The buffer part alleviates thermal shrinkage or thermal expansion in between the inner shell and the connection part.
