An operation microscope (3) comprises: an ordinary light path (A) that guides light from an object to be observed (T) to an eyepiece portion (15); a first secondary light path (R) that diverges from the ordinary light path (A); a second secondary light path (B1(B2)) that merges with the ordinary light path (A); a camera portion (16) that photographs the object to be observed (T) using light from the first secondary light path (R); a display portion (21) that displays an image based on an image signal of the camera portion (16) toward the second secondary light path (B1(B2)); and a reflection means (11) that is provided so as to enable withdrawing from a point of divergence (G) between the ordinary light path (A) and the first secondary light path (B1(B2)), and that causes the ordinary light path (A) to bend by reflection. The first secondary light path (B1(B2)) is positioned at the point of divergence (G) on an extended line of the ordinary light path (A) prior to reflection.
