The device (10) has a tool support (14) and an atomizer block (16) with a corrosion inhibiter supply e.g. atomizer chamber (24) and sealing cylinder (26), attached at an industrial robot (12). A spraying nozzle carrier (32) is attached at the tool support, and the tool support is rotated against the atomizer block. A channel (44) corresponding to a spraying nozzle (40) in an application position is connected to the corrosion inhibiter supply. The spraying nozzle is moved by a pneumatic cylinder between the application position and a storage position.
