PURPOSE: An LED optical module is provided to enhance effectiveness and profitability by including an LED which appropriately radiates heat. CONSTITUTION: An optical engine(20) comprises a printed circuit board(60) having a light emitting diode(66). A base ring(22) has a sidewall(40) defining a cavity(42). The sidewall comprises a fixing characteristic part. An optical component(24) is accepted inside the cavity. The optical component is arranged in order to receive light from the light emitting diode. The optical component emits the light created by the light emitting diode according to an illumination characteristic which is set in advance. An upper cover(26) is combined to the base ring. A pressure ring(28) is arranged between the upper cover and the optical component. |
