<p>The present invention addresses the issue of providing an optical connector, which has excellent connection workability, and furthermore, high connection reliability with an excellent urging force constantly maintained to the connecting direction. Disclosed is an optical connector which is provided with: a ferrule (13) attached to the terminal of an optical fiber cable (41); a housing (12) which houses the ferrule (13); a leaf spring (14), which urges the ferrule (13) to the leading end side in the housing (12); and a spring deflection preventing protrusion (72), which is formed on the rear end side of the ferrule (13) in the housing (12), and regulates, at a predetermined position, moving of the ferrule (13) to the rear end side against the urging force of the leaf spring (14).</p> |
