PURPOSE: A three dimensional map displaying method, a navigation device displaying a three-dimensional road, and a recording medium are provided to display a three-dimensional road image while driving which is similar to an actual road because mapping data gradually supplements a curve or a slope of a road in a three dimensional road image which is generated by using longitudinal and transverse slopes. CONSTITUTION: A three dimensional map displaying method, a navigation device displaying a three-dimensional road, and a recording medium comprise a control unit(150) and display unit(140). The control unit sets a polygonal cell containing a segment connecting two interpolation points along the road from input mapping data. The control unit calculates an intersecting point where an extension line extended in a vertical direction at a plurality of lattice points defining a cell and an extended plane are cross. The controller generates the mapping data set with a new cell which connects the intersecting point. The displaying unit displays the supplemented mapping data.
