PURPOSE: An impact absorbing type steering column of a vehicle is provided to reduce components and improve the collision performance by absorbing the secondary impact energy in the state of collision, and remove the difference of collision absorbing ability generated by interference of surrounding components. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing type steering column of a vehicle comprises a shaft(320), a second tube(310), and a collapse bush(350). A steering wheel and a first tube(330) are respectively coupled with one and the other side of the shaft. The shaft comprises a first latching projection(322) and one or more fixing groove(324) in the outer circumference. The second tube covers the shaft and the first tube. The second tube comprises a second latching projection in the inner circumference. The collapse bush is located between the second tube and the shaft. The collapse bush comprises a first supporting part(351) and a second supporting part. The first supporting part is supported by the first latching projection. The second supporting part is supported by the second latching projection.
