PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling an intelligent exhaust system is provided to prevent degradation and burning due to heat of parts because parts affected by heat of exhaust gas are minimized by controlling to optical stack directions in consideration of all sailing conditions and all climate conditions. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling an intelligent exhaust system comprises a wind velocity measuring part(4), a wind direction measuring part(5), a velocity measuring part(6), a direction measuring part(7), an engine load measuring part(10), an arithmetic part(8), and an actuating part(3). The wind velocity measuring part measures wind velocity signals and delivers the wind velocity signals to the arithmetic part. The wind direction measuring part measures wind direction signals and delivers the wind direction signals to the arithmetic part. The velocity measuring part measures velocity of a ship. The direction measuring part measures direction of the ship. The engine load measuring part measures load of an engine. The arithmetic part calculates influence of heat and smell depending on relative wind and direction of the relative wind and an exhaust pipe.
