PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding the transfer of steel bars into a cooling bed is provided to prevent the collision between products by letting a steel bar enter the cooling bed in whole. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for guiding the transfer of steel bars into a cooling bed comprises a mounting plate(100), upper and lower pin guides(110,120), and a guide pin(200). The mounting plate is installed on one side of a mounting member(50) which is fixed to a run-in roller driving apparatus cover(40). The upper and lower pin guides are formed on an end of the mounting plate. The guide pin passes through pin holes formed in the upper and lower pin guides so that the bottom thereof contacts a lift(20). The guide pin is raised by the lift and lowered under its weight.
