<p>The low-pressure circuit comprises a fuel tank (1) and a regulated electric fuel pump (2) used as a pre-feed pump for sucking the fuel from the fuel tank. The sucked fuel is fed through a fuel line to a low pressure region (4) and a high-pressure pump (5). A throttle (7) is provided in a return line (6) for promoting flow back of partial stream of the fuel into the fuel tank. An independent claim is included for fuel injection system.</p>
