<p>The present invention provides an imaging unit comprising: a lens unit which is provided with an object optical system for forming an optical image on an imaging face of a photoelectric conversion section, and is provided with an outer frame that accommodates the object optical system; a cover glass which is disposed at the tip end side of a mirror frame accommodating the lens unit therein, and is disposed so as to be positioned on the front face of the lens unit; a first thermal insulation member which is electrically insulating and thermally insulating, and is disposed between the mirror frame and the outer frame; a heater which is disposed on a substrate arranged on a level surface at the tip end side of the first thermal insulation member, the heater being in contact with the cover glass to thereby heat the cover glass; and a temperature sensor which is disposed on the substrate and is in contact with the cover glass to thereby measure the temperature of the cover glass that is heated by the heater.</p> |
