PURPOSE: A headphone for cancelling active noise using an adaptive beam forming technique is provided to transfer useful sound information to a listener by controlling the removal of sound from external noises generated in the front of a listener. CONSTITUTION: A headphone for cancelling active noise using an adaptive beam forming technique additionally includes outer microphones(112,122). An acoustic synthesizer has an expansion function. The outer microphones are installed on the outer surfaces of the left and right sides of noise cancellation headphone(100). The outer microphone transfer external sound to an acoustic synthesizer. The acoustic synthesizer is composed of a right side acoustic synthesizer and a left side acoustic synthesizer. The acoustic synthesizer detects the time difference of sound inputted to the outer microphones. The acoustic synthesizer synthesizes out of phase acoustic signals for sound excluding the sound generated in a range of 0-25° from side to side, with a sound source around a front center portion. |
