PURPOSE: A cup holder prevents the cup maintenance from becoming unstable by unnecessary descent or distortion. CONSTITUTION: A cup holder comprises a body casing(12), cover members(20), a cup holding member(60), a parallel link unit(50), connection devices(25,74), and abutment parts(27, 73) for a stopper. The body casing demarcates a chamber(16) having an opening(14) in the upper part thereof. The cover members are installed in the body casing to rotate between opening and closing positions. The cup holding member comprises a cup maintenance part. The parallel link unit connects the body casing and the cup holding member. The connection devices connect the cover members and the cup holding member. The abutment parts allow the cup holding member to move downward.
