<p>An optical unit for a display panel device with a capacitive touch input function is provided. Within the optical unit, a touch panel laminate comprises: an optically transparent first base material layer laminated on one surface of a transparent adhesive layer; a first transparent conductive layer laminated, via a first undercoat layer, onto the surface of the first base material layer that is on the opposite side to the adhesive layer; an optically transparent second base material layer laminated on to the other surface of the adhesive layer; and a second transparent conductive layer laminated, via a second undercoat layer, on to the surface of the second base material layer that is on the opposite side to the adhesive layer. A polarizing-function laminate comprises a layer that includes a circularly polarized element and is laminated, via the transparent adhesive layer, to a surface of the touch panel laminate that contains one of either the first or the second transparent conductive layers. In addition, a release liner is releasably bonded, via the transparent adhesive layer, to the surface of the touch panel laminate containing the other of the first or the second transparent conductive layers.</p> |
