An energy display device (100) of the present invention calculates the amount of energy expended of a mobile body and displays thereof upon a display unit (110). A calculation unit (102) calculates, per factor, the amount of energy to be expended by operation of the mobile body. An estimation unit (104), with regard to the amount of acceleration energy required for acceleration among the calculated amounts of energy per factor, estimates a recovered energy amount to be recovered at deceleration time from the amount of energy expended at acceleration time. When a determination unit (103) determines acceleration time, a display control unit (105) displays as the acceleration energy amount, among the calculated energy amounts per factor, an amount of energy which is the recovered energy amount subtracted from the amount of energy expended at acceleration time.
