PURPOSE: A moisturizing cosmetic material containing polymethacrylic acid methoxy polyethylene glycol is provided to enhance moisturization on a keratin layer. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic material contains polymethacrylic acid methoxy polyethylene glycol and polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside. A moisturizing cosmetic contains polymethacrylic acid methoxy polyethylene glycol and polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside. The polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside is polyethylene glycol ether of methyl glucose.
