PURPOSE: A fax data managing method and a system thereof are provided to store external fax data and print the data by selection of a user. CONSTITUTION: A fax terminal server receives an external communication signal through a fax receiving unit. The fax terminal server decodes the external communication signal to fax data(S301). The fax terminal server scans the encoded fax data by a scanning unit. The fax terminal server converts the encoded fax data into image data(S302). The fax terminal server stores the image data in a data managing unit(S304).
