PURPOSE: A handrail fixing structure for construction is provided to securely fix a handrail using lower and upper caps for fixing flanges installed in both ends of the handrail. CONSTITUTION: A handrail fixing structure for construction is composed as follows. Flange insertion grooves are formed in the inner sides of lower and upper caps(40). Flanges(22) formed in the ends of a handrail(20) are inserted into the flange insertion grooves. Rail supports(32,42) are formed in the outer plates(33,43) of the lower and upper caps. The ends of the handrail are inserted into the rail supports. Anchor insertion holes(34a,34b) fixed to the wall of a building are formed in the inner plate(34) of the lower cap. Fitting grooves(37a,37b) and position setting pins(47a,47b) are formed on the front sides(35,45) and the rear sides(36,46) of the lower and upper caps. Latching grooves(34g,44g) are formed in the inner plates of the lower and upper caps and are hung on the front ends of headless bolts(50,52). The headless bolts are coupled to screw holes(24,26) formed in the flanges. |
