<p>The gear mechanism has an oil wiper device located in a planar region of an end face of a rotatably mounted gear. A pipeline is arranged at the oil wiper device. An upper end of the pipeline is directly or indirectly connected with another pipeline for driving-out of oil from an internal space of the oil wiper device and/or connected with an intermediate storage device. The oil wiper device is arranged above an oil sump. A set of cooling fins (3, 9) is provided on a housing part of the gear mechanism.</p>
