<p>The method involves winding an elongate material (1) in several layers (5,6) around a core of a winding device. The wound roller (4) is detached from the core of the winding device. An elongated film band (9) is wound on two edge regions (7,8) of the layers of to be wound-up roller. The clamping force is increased during the beginning of the winding operation of the elongated film band. The winding operation of elongated film band is performed when the elongate material is outside the edge regions.</p> |
