The device (1) has first and second connectors (12, 13) for connecting first and second containers (4, 5) i.e. vials, containing components e.g. gels, liquids and powders, respectively. Closure units (121, 131, 141) i.e. multi-way valves, selectively close or open one of the connectors. A third connector connects a conveyor (2) for conveying one of the components. A fourth connector connects a third container (3) for accommodating medical fluid reconstructed or mixed from the components. The first and second connectors are respectively connected with lines of the device. An independent claim is also included for a method for reconstructing or mixing medical fluid.
