PURPOSE: A vehicle classifying device in a multi non-stop lane and a vehicle classifying method thereof are provided to classify a vehicle model using the width and height of the vehicle which drives in various types. CONSTITUTION: A measuring sensor is installed in the upper part of a lane. The measuring sensor measures the location of right/left edges of a vehicle(1) on a lane. A control unit(20) receives location signals of right/left edges of the measured vehicle to calculate the width and height of the vehicle. The control unit determines a vehicle model according to the width and height of the vehicle. The control unit is connected to the measuring sensor.
