PURPOSE: A system for a safety crossing gate in a school zone is provided to effectively control vehicles and pedestrians by installing the system in a crossing. CONSTITUTION: A system for a safety crossing gate in a school zone comprises a blocking bar, a wire member, an air pressure generator(101), a control unit(200), a vehicle detector(111), and a display unit(121). The blocking bar is formed in an air tube shape and is horizontally expanded and contracted. The wire member allows the blocking bar to be received in the housing space of a main body when the blocking bar is contracted. The air pressure generator is installed inside the main body and injects or inhale air into/from the blocking bar. The control unit receives power from the outside. The vehicle detector is installed outside the main body and senses the access and speed of a vehicle. The display unit displays the speed of the vehicle and a vehicle control signal.
