The machine (100) has a housing (1) comprising a flotation chamber (3), a nozzle arrangement (4) and a gassing arrangement (5) that is arranged within the flotation chamber and below the nozzle arrangement. A measuring device (10) is provided for analyzing a formed foam product and a suspension, and a computing unit (11) is connected to the measuring device. The computing unit calculates and outputs a control variable from the analytical values provided by the measuring device, where an adjusting device (9) changes position of the gassing arrangement based on the control variable. An independent claim is also included for a method for floating particles from a suspension to form a form product.
