PURPOSE: A lamp for a vehicle is provided to easily control an irradiation area of an upward lamp by minutely controlling the location of a light blocking unit in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A light unit(10) includes a discharge valve(11) and a light emitting unit(12). A condensing lens(20) is arranged in a light progressing direction of the light unit. A reflection surface(30) surrounds the light unit and reflects light. A light blocking unit(40) blocks the whole or a part of upward light from the light unit. A sub lens(50) is located between the light unit and the reflection surface and refracts incident light to the reflection surface.
