PURPOSE: An external use skin composition using horse placental extract is provided to ensure skin whitening, skin moisturizing and treatment of atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: An external use skin composition for skin whitening contains horse placental extract or Crinum asiaticum leaf extract as an active ingredient. The horse placental extract is a extracted obtained by: acid hydrolysis of horse placental villus and neutralizing; hydrolysis of protease; or immersing horse placental villus in water, ethanol or mixture thereof. An external use skin composition for skin moisturizing contains horse placental extract or Crinum asiaticum var. japonicum leaf extract as an active ingredient.
