Shellfish, e.g. unshelled shrimps, having been lightly boiled immediately after catching, are packed immediately after landing in resilient plastics bags with a preserving liquid, e.g. pure brine or dill brine, and the air is evacuated from the bags which are then sealed. The shrimps are boiled after sealing the bags. Other shellfish specified are prawns, lobster, crawfish and crab. |
